Matt and Rada Burdeen, owners of Burdeen’s Jewelry, share a commitment to giving back to the community that has supported their family business. With more than 30 years in luxury jewelry and timepieces, Matt has expanded Burdeen’s presence across Chicago, building lasting relationships grounded in trust, integrity, and personal service. Supporting causes meaningful to their clients, partners, and friends helped inspire the couple’s philanthropy through Team Burdeen, where their focus is supporting the immediate local community.

Separately, Rada continues to hold leadership roles with JUF’s Women’s Philanthropy, The Ark, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago’s Women’s Board. Her family’s experience finding refuge in the United States with help from Jewish nonprofit agencies continues to inspire her dedication to helping others a commitment she and Matt share. The Burdeens are honored to be a part the spectacular work that the Ahmed family is doing to support youth health and education.

During the pandemic, Team Burdeen has contributed to over 15 different causes. Through the Team Burdeen initiative, all Burdeen's Jewelry employees were empowered to give back to local causes in their communities such as providing meals for front line healthcare workers, domestic violence shelters and more.
