The Navitimer
In 1954, Breitling released the Navitimer, designed by pilots for pilots. Featuring a slide rule for pilots to calculate navigation in the air, the Navitimer was the ultimate tool watch.
in 1954, the Navitimer was only available to members of the aircraft owners and pilots association (AOPA). Today, the AOPA wings are back adorning the dial, but available to all aspiring aviators.
