The 4 C's
Cut
The quality of the diamond. This usually describes the appearance of sparkle and brilliance. The GIA's grading based on the cut ranges from "Excellent" to "Poor."
Carat
The weight of a diamond, typically measured in carats, generally determines the size of the stone. The larger the stone, the higher the carat weight and value.
Color
The diamond's color often influencing its price. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades diamonds on a scale of 23 color grades to determine their color quality.
Clarity
Clarity evaluates the presence, size, and positioning of internal "inclusions" and external "blemishes" within a diamond. Inclusions are tiny crystals or fissures found within the diamond.

If you see/feel/hear that your stone is loose or a prong has lifted please make sure to come in as soon as possible for us to give it the attention it needs.
